Taiwanese government has started to suppress civilian liberty.
In January 2018, making use of the University Act, Taiwanese government started to suppress Dr. Kuan, then president-elect of National Taiwan University, declaring war against academic freedom.
In December 2019, making use of the Social Order Maintenance Act, Taiwanese government started to suppress me, then president-elect of the Republic of China Association of International Relations, as well as other citizens, declaring war against freedom of assembly and speech.
In November 2020, making use of the Radio and Television Act, Taiwanese government decided to shut down the Zhongtian TV News, declaring war against press freedom.
All these victims share one common point. They are disliked by the ruling Democratic Progress Party (DPP) and have expressed dissident opinions and even criticism.
The Nazi leader Joseph Gobel once said that “truth is the mortal enemy of the lie” and “ it thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent.”
Taiwanese government has now declared a total war against Taiwanese liberty.
